Colorado Solar System Inspections & Service

We can service almost any Colorado Solar/Battery system

If your solar company is gone, you're not alone — Colorado has been hit especially hard.

In the past two years, several major installers that served thousands of Front Range homeowners have shut their doors or gone bankrupt. SunPower — once the largest residential solar company in the country — filed for Chapter 11 in August 2024, leaving its Colorado customers without monitoring, warranty support, or a number to call. Blue Raven Solar, which was the #1 residential installer in Colorado before being acquired by SunPower, went down with it. Locally, EcoMark Solar (Denver) filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in April 2025. And national players like ADT Solar, Pink Energy, Lumio Solar, Freedom Forever and Titan Solar Power — all of which installed systems across the Denver metro and Front Range — have also ceased operations.

Common Solar Service Questions

Can you service a system that wasn't installed by Solar Wave?

Yes. We service all major brands, including SunPower, Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla Powerwall, Generac, and more. Our inspection covers your full system regardless of who originally installed it.

What does the $399 inspection include?

A complete top-to-bottom inspection of your system — panels, inverters, wiring, mounting hardware, and

roof penetrations — plus a written report and monitoring takeover so we keep an eye on things going forward.

How does the $5/month monitoring work?

We connect to your system's monitoring portal and track production and performance daily. If anything goes

offline or underperforms, we reach out proactively. Billed annually at $60/year.

What if my system needs a major repair?

We'll assess it on-site during the inspection and provide a transparent written quote before any work begins.

No pressure, no surprises. Most minor issues (wiring, hardware) can be resolved same day.

My SunPower installer is no longer in business. Can you help?

Yes. SunPower filed for bankruptcy in August 2024, leaving hundreds of thousands of homeowners without

support. Solar Wave specializes in taking over these orphaned systems — inspection, monitoring, and repairs.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the greater Denver Metro area including Lakewood, Littleton, Evergreen, Arvada, Golden, Parker,

Aurora, and surrounding Front Range communities.

Why does solar monitoring matter?

Most homeowners don't realize their system has stopped working for weeks or even months.

Active monitoring catches issues immediately — before they cost you months of lost production and energy savings.
