Power for everything you drive, plug in, and depend on

Solar Wave Electric installs EV chargers, electrical panels, and Span smart panels — all designed to work together with your home and existing energy systems.

One team for everything behind your meter

Most “one-off” electricians install a device and leave you to figure out the rest. Solar Wave Electric designs your EV charger, panel, and smart panel as one home power system.

We already know home energy from the solar + battery side.

We plan for future loads: EVs, heat pumps, hot tubs, and home offices.

We prioritize safety, code, and clean workmanship on every job.

Whether you’ve worked with Solar Wave for solar before or you’re just finding us now, our Electric team brings the same transparent pricing and no-pressure approach.

Electric services we offer

EV charger installs that don’t trip breakers

We install Level 2 EV chargers that charge your car fast without overloading your panel. Every project includes:

  • Load calculation to make sure your panel can handle it

  • Options for hard-wired or plug-in chargers

  • Clean conduit runs and cord management

  • Permit and inspection handled for you

Already have solar or planning it? We’ll size the charger and circuits so your system and utility bill still make sense.

Panel upgrades that future-proof your home

Older 100A or crowded panels make it hard (or impossible) to add EV chargers, heat pumps, hot tubs, or generators. We provide:

  • Panel replacements (100A → 150A → 200A and beyond)

  • New main breakers, properly labeled circuits, and code-compliant grounding/bonding

  • Service upgrades are coordinated with your utility when needed

We’ll tell you honestly if you don’t need a full upgrade — sometimes a sub-panel or simple re-work is enough.

Span smart panels: control every circuit from your phone

A Span smart panel replaces your existing breaker panel and turns your home into a smart, battery-ready system. With Span, you can:

  • See real-time usage on every circuit

  • Prioritize which loads stay on during an outage

  • Pair seamlessly with solar and batteries for longer backup

  • Avoid costly service upgrades by managing loads intelligently

Solar Wave is trained to design and install Span so it works with your existing electrical and any future solar or battery system.

Common Questions About Solar Wave Electric Services

Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. We start with a load calculation. Sometimes smart load management or a sub-panel is enough. If an upgrade is needed, we’ll show you exactly why.
Span panel vs. regular panel upgrade—what’s the difference?
A standard upgrade adds capacity. A Span panel adds capacity and control: per-circuit monitoring, prioritization during outages, and load management that can avoid larger service upgrades.
How long does installation take?
  • EV charger: typically 1–2 weeks from proposal to install (permits can vary).

  • Panel upgrades: 2–4 weeks with utility coordination.

  • Span panels: 3–5 weeks, including design and inspection.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes—permits, inspections, and utility coordination for the scopes we install.
